Novaturient means desiring or seeking powerful change in one’s life, behavior, or situation.
It’s a word I came across many years ago on some long-forgotten website that dealt with words that had been deleted from everyday vernacular. But, it has intrigued me ever since I read the meaning and I’ve always been drawn back to it.
I have made a bad habit out of waiting – waiting for things to be ‘perfect’, and telling myself once it is ‘perfect’, then I’ll do SOMETHING. Something fun, something courageous, something spontaneous, just something.
You see where this is going… I’ve been waiting for something my whole life. Now, I’m starting something myself!
Starting a bonafide blog is my first step towards change.
Sure, it could be considered a very small step, but let me tell you how I see it: When it comes to my life, I have always been very private except for my few close friends, so putting it all out there for strangers is a huge step for me.
On to the good stuff:
This blog will focus on my love of DIY, food, and trying new things – which range from fashion to kpop to hooping to gardening. I guess you could call me eclectic!
I live in the Holy City (Charleston, SC) with my amazing husband & our three dogs. I’m a big believer of karma, power eyebrows, puppy kisses, laughing, and being yourself.
Take a look around and thank you for joining me on this journey!
